The possible impact of AI, specifically large language models (LLM), on people’s jobs is a big topic in 2024. In this piece, we looked at one example of a more ‘academic’ take on the issue and looked at some more ‘anecdotal’ views. We found that, although these systems can do a lot, we’ll be waiting a long time for systems that can complete jobs in full with zero intervention.
