FE Trustnet took home the team prize at the Investment Association awards last night, while our news editor topped an individual journalist category.
Your purveyor of fund news and research scooped the Investment Writing Team of the Year 2015 prize at a ceremony hosted at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
As you all know, we love funds and like nothing more than writing in-depth analysis about them so it’s great that the team’s hard work has been recognised by the industry. Thanks to everyone that has supported us.
In addition, news editor Alex Paget was named Trade Journalist of the Year for his efforts.
Despite being a shockingly young 24 years of age, Alex has a tremendous knowledge of funds and a geeky obsession with investments inherited from his mentor Josh Ausden.
We’re clearly very happy about the awards so congratulations to the team and thanks to all the readers for keeping the site so lively with all your comments and insight.
We weren’t the only winners on the night, of course.
The Telegraph’s Kyle Caldwell picked up the National Journalist of the Year gong. We’re big fans of Kyle, so well done for that.
Phil Scott was named Freelance Journalist of the Year. Another well deserved prize for this popular writer and Trustnet Magazine contributor.
Finally, Professional Pensions editor-in-chief Jonathan Stapleton took home the Pensions Journalist of the Year award – congratulations John.
